STRENGTH IN HOPING IN THE LORD

” But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength ” Isaiah 40:31.
The strongest people even grow weary at times,but God’s power and strength never diminish. He is neither too tired nor too busy to help and listen. His strength is our source of strength. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Hoping in the Lord, is expecting that His promise of strength will help us to rise above life’s distractions and difficulties. It means trusting in God. Trusting helps us to be prepared when He speaks to us. Then, we will be patient when He asks us to wait and expect Him to fulfill the promises found in His Word.Generally, the eagles live for hundred years and one can not calculate its age. Because, when it gets old, it sheds all its feathers and wait for many days taking shelter behind the rocks. Then, when the feathers grow, they renew their strength and soar high on wings. Hence, the Bible says in Psalm 103:5,” Your youth is renewed like the eagle’s “. When we feel all of life crushing us and cannot go another step, let us remember that we can call upon God to renew our strength. Let us learn to see His Presence alone, fast and pray earnestly to regain our energy. When we wait upon the Lord, we go from strength to strength till we appear before God in Zion.
” Dear Lord, I wait upon You and surrender to Your inexpressible power and Your love. You are my Shield and Defender. My only confidence is in Your immeasurable power and greatness to regain my strength. In Jesus’Name I pray “.–Amen.
